Our mission

Tad Kozh is an independent initiative dedicated to the recognition of métiers d’art and the preservation of watchmaking know-how.

Our mission is simple: to build bridges between those who shape time and those who bring it to life.

Each edition, every encounter between a maison and an artisan, and every competition we organize serves the same purpose — to keep the gesture alive, to ensure the atelier continues to beat, and to make sure transmission never fades.

Craftsmanship is a universal language.

The language of the precise gesture, of mastered materials, of time patiently shaped.

It tells deeply human stories — stories of passion, discipline, doubt, and above all, a constant pursuit: doing things well, and doing them truthfully.

At Tad Kozh, we believe that beauty reveals itself when we look closely: in the depth of an enamel blue, in the reflection of a polished bridge, in the trace left by a file on brass.

Our Vision and Origins

Baudouin, deeply attached to his Breton roots (Tad Kozh means grand-father in Breton), and Alix share a conviction: watchmaking is not merely about mechanical complications. It is, above all, about people — about gestures passed down, and knowledge preserved.

Passionate about the men and women who bring watchmaking to life, they created the media platform Tourbillon Watch in 2019 to showcase their work.

Driven by this commitment and inspired by the example of their elders, they are launching Tad Kozh in 2026: a bridge between generations, between tradition and renewal, between collectors and artisans.
